Stand

408. Sealed

If there is anything that the Bible tells us for sure, it is that we live on a planet where there are invisible enemies.  These demons, together with Satan, are very real, and they are out to kill, steal, and destroy.  John 10:10 says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

So many times we feel like we are just having a bad day, or the people who are vexing us are just bad people. No, most of the time evil is caused directly by demons.

Demons cause people to have addictions to alcohol, drugs, food and porno.  Demons cause people to be rebellious, demons cause oppression, misunderstandings in families, they cause many sicknesses and diseases, and they cause people to hate, kill, and steal. They cause adults to rape small children and have sex with them. Demons cause people to commit suicide.

We hope the Word of God has enriched your life.  What we hope to give to you is the following knowledge:

The good news is -

that if we know that it is possible to be victims of Satan

(Prisoners in the Promise Land),

if we know

(Who God is),

if we know how to stay in touch with Him

(Flowing River),

if we know who we are in Jesus Christ

(Sit),

if we know how to walk in the Spirit

(Walk),

then we can rest assured that we can

(Stand) against the evil wicked demons of this age

and bear

(Fruit for God).

God has already provided for us, we just need to KNOW it.

The forethought and timelessness of God never ceases to amaze me!

Ephesians 4:30 says, “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

Revelation 7:4 says, “And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed.”

Revelation 9:4 says, “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.”

Revelation 14:1 (KJV) says, “And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their forehead.”

Look at Revelation chapter 7:3 when the four devils come to destroy the earth (four is a number signifying earth) and all of the sudden the angel sent from God comes, and with the seal (or signet ring of authority) of the living God, cries with a loud voice saying ‘Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.’

Strong’s Concordance gives the following definition of the word ‘sealed’:

to set a seal upon, mark with a seal, to seal

   1a) for security: from Satan

1b) since things sealed up are concealed (as the contents of a letter), to hide, keep in silence, keep secret

1c) in order to mark a person or a thing

1c1) to set a mark upon by the impress of a seal or a stamp

1c2) angels are said to be sealed by God

1d) in order to prove, confirm, or attest a thing

1d1) to confirm authenticate, place beyond doubt

            1d1a) of a written document

1d1b) to prove one’s testimony to a person that he is what he professes to be.

Before we ever began our journey on this sin-racked planet, we were sealed and made immune to the harm; not the hurt, but the harm.  There is a major difference.

The only ones who are truly covered and win are the ones who have the character of Jesus, speak the word and are sold out.  “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11).

Testify what the Word says that the blood does for us.  The blood only protects the obedient, the ones who are like the Israelites who during the Passover stayed in the house and dipped the hyssop.  It is like watering the seed in Mark 4 when we confess what the Word says.

Stay in the house, be obedient and the blood will work.  1 Peter 1:2 says, “according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace be multiplied.”

James 4:7 says, “Therefore submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Amen and Amen.
