How are you and the work God has put into your hand?

I am online with pastor Conteh and we were having a moment of sharing and praying.

He told me of how ISOB is going to Burkina Faso and we are grateful about it.

We have been working relentlessly to see Gods word accomplish in the lives of so many in our land. The study of grow or die has change so many lives and many has been blessed by studying Gods word with these discipleship study program.

Testimony of a sister.

I came across the book grow or die while I was still a Muslim. I have never read the bible for once, because we were forbidden to touch a bible. My family are all Muslims and my father a fanatic follower, and he breath fire when he see Christians around our house.

I came from the market one day when a fellow sister we both attended high school gave me the book grow or die. I hesitated to take it from her but but she insisted and I do collect it.

I had to hide it from the eyes of my father because I know he would disowned me and throw me out if he finds out am reading a Christian materials.

I started reading this book and there and then I start having encounter with God.

What interest me in keeping the book is the title, Grow or die.

It was so interesting to me that I became so curious to know the contents of the book.

I started reading the book at night when everybody has gone to bed.

There and then I began to get insight and to see myself breaking out from the bondage I have been in all this while.

Unfortunately one evening I was reading the book when my father bum into the room and was curious to see what I was reading that has so take over my whole being.

He was furious and and had to ask me out of the house and never to call him my father.

I had no where to go as none of my family members would accept me.

I went to a nearby church where I met a pastor and explain myself to him.

He gladly took me in gave me food and told his senior pastor about my ordeal.

I was given shelter in the church and after showing them the book that have transform my life they were so impressed.

Today I thank God I have a new life and that even though my father and mother forsake me the lord has taken me up.

The church today I find myself has been given some amount of the book grow or die and today we have almost concluded in studying Grow or Die.

I am working and praying relentlessly for my family to see the light.

Keep praying for me and my family.

Today I have been baptize by water and I have peace in my heart.

Testimony

I was an armed robber and it was while we were on our operation in an highway robbing a vehicle that I took a bag from one of our victims. Searching the bag later I found the book grow or die in the bag. I started reading it while we were not in operation. I became more fascinated as I go through the pages.. I was tormented in my inside as I begin to have the urged to go find the lady whose bag I took because her ID card was in the bag.

I thought about the police that I would be arrested, but deep in my inside there was something convicting me. This book becomes glued in my hand.

On a Sunday I went in search of the lady with the address in the Identity card.

I found but she could not notice me as I was masked during the operation.

I told her that we were responsible for the highway robbery and she screamed and ran away. I never knew the pastor that gave her the book was living in the same compound with her.. When he heard the screaming came out to interrogate me.

I told him everything and there and then he lead me to Christ.

Today I have a changed life and I thank God I am no longer an armed robber.

I have read this book over and over and every time I read it my life becomes better.
